Personal profile and my expectation of the semantic courses

Hello everyone👋👋.

On this occasion, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Fahira Wina Astuti. You can call me Fahira. I am the third child in my family and I have 3 other siblings. I was born in Bintuhan,October 10th 2001. You can remember my birthday if you want,hihi🤭. I am a student at University of Bengkulu. I'm majoring in English education.

For my educational background, I studied at SD N 14 Kaur (2007-2013), MTS Negeri 1 Kaur (2013-2016), SMA Negeri 1 Kaur (2016-2019). Now I am studying as third semester student in Universitas Bengkulu.

In my opinion, I am someone who is quite active in the organization. I did joined PMR in high school. Also, I did joned English club in my high school . Even now, I still active in Kelas Prestasi Universitas Bengkulu and management of the department of women's FOSI UNIB.

I spend much of my time to read books. I really like reading books about motivation or science. I also cleaning the house. In my free time,  I enjoy to practising editing a videos and photo. My activities lately, I become a intern team to share information about TOEFL and IELTS. I want to get a lot of experience here. Sometime I feel my English skills are still low and I hope I can learn a lot to master English.

Right now, I'm started managing a personal blog about my personal profile and my expectation of semantics courses. This is my first assignment in semantic courses, but I think in the future, I will make this blog for English learners who want to became more fluent in the language.  

In the midst of the pandemic, the government has issued policies for studying, working, and worshiping at home. As I am doing now, I have to start a new semester online. I want to ask you, what are your feeling durung covid'19 situation??. I am sure you feel anxious and afraid like me. But, in this situation we have to be stronger so that the covid' 19 disappears immediately.

I hope we keep our spirit up despite the obstacles. I suggest you to wash your hands diligently and wear a mask. You need to stay at least 1 meter away from a person and do more exercise. By the way, I really miss my class and my college "University of Bengkulu".

During this pandemic times, I study at home with joined some online classes. One of my classes is Semantics with Mr. Azwandi, M.A as my lecturer.

Oh yeahhh....
In this new semester, I have semantics courses. In the previous semester's notebook about lingusitic. Semantics is study of meaning. If focuses on the relation between words, phrases,etc. So, why we study Semantics?. Anyone can answer it?.

Okay, We study semantics so that we can know a truth from a sentence that has multiple meanings. I hope that by learning this, I will better know the meaning obtained from the sentence/conversation correctly. In my opinion, this course will be fun because the lecturer ia funny in WhatsApp group hihi.

So, I have a big expectation on this Class. I will study hard, I will do my best. And most importantly, I learned a lot in this semantics courses.
